Mapping Entrepreneurial Ecosystem of China:a Multi-Perspective Comparison

Entrepreneurial Ecosystem is not only the catalyst for steady economic development. It is an important factor to reverse the economic slowdown. "Popular innovation and entrepreneurship" can hardly boost China developing fast without the support of well Entrepreneurial Ecosystem. This paper makes a vertical comparison for the past five year about entrepreneurial ecosystem in China and a horizontal comparison between China and other countries which are in the same development stage or higher stage according to Global Competitive Reports to address Chinese Entrepreneurial Ecosystem further. Results show that most of the factors are showing an improving trend, especially financing for Entrepreneurs, Governmental Support and Policies for Entrepreneurship, Internal Market Dynamics, Cultural and Social Norms etc. But, R&D Transfer and Commercial, Professional Infrastructure should be improved urgently. This paper will benefit "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" further and provide experience to other followers from developing countries.
