Event-triggered control for networked control system via an improved integral inequality

Abstract This paper focuses on event-triggered controller design problem for a networked control system via a novel integral inequality based on Lyapounov-Krasovskii functional (LKF). Specifically, a new integral inequality is applied to bound integral term, which produces tighter bounds than some existing ones. First, take into account static quantization, a networked control system model with two successive delay components is introduced. Then, using an improved integral inequality, we obtain a less conservative stability condition, which ensures the system is asymptotically stable with a given H ∞ disturbance attention level γ in the form of linear matrix inequality. After that, the desired event-triggered controller is established using congruence conversion approach to minimize unnecessary computation and communication resource usage [9] , [45] . Finally, two simulation examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed new design techniques.
