Preparation and characterization of superfine luminescent LaPO_4∶Eu powder

Ultra fine LaPO_4∶Eu powder was prepared by precipitation method of oxalate.The samples were characterized by XRD and particle size distribution and photoluminescence spectra.The experiment results show that the as-prepared samples have a good size distribution around 200nm even though calcined at high temperature(1000℃).In addition,From emission spectrum,the as-prepared ultra fine luminescent LaPO_4∶Eu powder can emit bright red luminescence.
