大腸鏡檢查常用清腸劑Fleet Phospho-soda之藥物不良反應探討

Ideal bowel preparation improves diagnostic accuracy of colonoscopy. Thus, it is important to choose a non-expensive, effective, and well-tolerated bowel cleansing regimen. One of the most satisfying regimens is oral sodium phosphate, e.g. Fleet Phospho-soda. However, more and more case reports reveal that serious electrolyte disturbance (e.g. hyperphoshatemia, hypocalcemia) and acute kidney injury occur occasionally in those who ever used Fleet Phospho-soda. If we do not treat serious hyperphoshatemia and hypocalcemia in time, acute phosphate nephropathy will progress and then worsen kidney function. In this article, we made a literature review in these studies focus on electrolyte disturbance and kidney injury following oral Fleet Phospho-soda.
