The Word asthma includes different symtons which the common denominator is the airflow obstruction and similar clinical manifestations. The definition of childhood asthma that is generally accepted by the scientific community is repetitive episodes of recurrent respiratory sounds and/or cough in a situation in which asthma is likely and have ruled out other less respiratory diseases. The biographical text that is set out below, aims to present the experiences of a mother and her daughter diagnosed with asthma during childhood. It will be showed he severity of the disease, the symptoms, the factors which brought about asthma and the urgency of the same. Likewise, the positive evolution of the disease will be displayed after an environmental change. Key-words: Asthma; child; respiratory sounds.
