Temperature and Pump Dependent Operation of Short-cavity Erbium-doped Fiber Laser

The experimental study of the heavily erbium-doped fiber lasers with a short cavity generation features are presented. The lasing regimes were studied under the continuous wave pumping by a semiconductor laser diode (976 nm). The dependence of the parameters and regimes of generation on the cavity length, pump power and external temperature were investigated.
