Exploration and Practice of the Construction of the Key Laboratory of Atomic Molecular and Nanosciences of the Ministry of Education

The Key Laboratory of Atomic Molecular and Nanosciences of the Ministry of Education,was established more than twenty years ago.It has achieved remarkable results and formed its own characteristics.This paper summarized the experiences from the exploration and practice of the laboratory accumulated during its construction and development over the years.Various measurements,as well as its recent achievements and future development objectives,are introduced,including building a rational,innovative research team by attracting and nurturing talents,and optimizing the age and knowledge structures of the personnels;cultivating its research culture and academic image by creating an open and friendly atmosphere with dedications to science and technology;promoting a mutual-beneficial relationship and forming a good interaction with the supporting organization Tsinghua University,enforcing laboratory management and efficient operation.
