Guide wire for guiding radical artery path intervention

2010
The utility model provides a guide wire for guiding radical artery path intervention. The guide wire comprises a guide wire body and a guide wire head at the front end. The diameter of the guide wire is 0.014 to 0.02 inches, and the total length of the guide wire is 2.5 to 3.0 m, so that a catheter can be replaced without moving the guide wire. The guide wire head 3 to 5 cm in length is bended into a semi-arc blunt head, and the diameter of the bended part is 0.1 to 0.2 cm, so that the bended head is prevented from injuring blood vessels, and can smoothly advance in a thinner radical artery. The guide wire is made of Ni-ti alloy and coated with a hydrophilic coating, so as to reduce stimulation to the radical artery and avoid convulsion. The Ni-ti alloy core can reduce twists to the utmost extent. The guide wire has the advantages of less stimulation to sensitive radical artery, low probability of causing injury, and simple operation, and can serve as a disposable medical supply.
