Discussion on the Application of Psychological Nursing Intervention in Patients with Multi Drug Resistant Tuberculosis

Objective To explore the clinical value of psychological nursing intervention in patients with multi drug resistant tuberculosis(MDR-TB). Methods 118 cases with MDR-TB admitted in our hospital from October 2010 to October 2014 were selected and divided into group B1(observation group) and group B2(control group) with 59 cases in each in accordance with the random number table method. Group B1 was given the conventional nursing and psychological nursing clinically, and group B2 was given the conventional nursing clinically. And the treatment compliance and the degree of depression of the two groups were compared.Results During the treatment, all the patients in group B1 could undergo the medication in accordance with the doctor's orders,but in group B2, only 10 patients could do that, and 5 patients had palindromia, the difference between the two groups of patients with MDR-TB is statistically significant(P0.05); the difference in level of depression during the hospitalization between the two groups is not statistically significant(P0.05); after clinical nursing, the improvement of depression of group B1 is much better than that of group B2,and the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05). Conclusion Psychological nursing intervention given to the MDR-TB patients during clinical nursing is of clinical intervention value, which can improve the treatment compliance and al-leviate the depression of the patients effectively.
