Remote Measurement of the atomic oxygen distribution in Earth atmosphere from International Space Station

2008
Method of the atomic oxygen concentration distribution in upper Earth atmosphere on 90-130 km altitude has been developed. The method is based on analysis of the night limb UV (λλ 250 - 330 nm) glow images taken from International Space Station. Intensity of this radiation is directly related to the atomic oxygen content.
