TUZOIA SINENSIS PAN OF EARLY CAMBRIAN GUANSHAN FAUNA FROM EASTERN YUNNAN

Tuzoia sinensis Pan was a large bivalved arthropod as a typical member of early Cambrian Guanshan Fauna in eastern Yunnan.Howerever,the morphological feature "frills"was firstly confirmed in T.sinensis as a supplement as follow,and the broad-based spine is proved to be a more dominating feature to distinguish T.sinensis from others according to morphological comparison and taphonomic stability of the spines.In addition,profile of T.sinensis can be drawn according to various fluctuant extents in terms of different density of the reticulate pattern of the valves.
