Low-profile Bi-directional Circularly Polarized antenna

The authors propose a low-profile printed antenna structure radiating circular polarization along the ground plane. Circular polarization is generated by two main elements at different levels in the layered structure with a capacitively coupled feeding patch. The generating mechanism is newly proposed. In this paper, the structure and the performances are presented.
