Report on the Process of the Hybrid Cotton——Xizamian 0507 Breeding and Selection and Its Performance

[Objective] The reference for the hybrid cotton breeding and the promotion and application of Xizamian 0507 in the production was provided.[Method] The design of breeding objective,the application of the technical route and breeding method in the process of Xizamian 0507 breeding were analyzed and the yield,quality and resistance of Xizamian 0507 were investigated.[Results] Xizamian 0507 was with the performance of high and stable yield,strong disease-resisting,good fiber quality,strong tolerance to environment and good adaptability.[Conclusion] This variety could be planted in the area of cotton-planting in Anhui Province.
