The utility model aims at providing an operating handle with a brake button of an electric car. The operating handle is characterized in that a microswitch is arranged in a hole cavity of the upper end of the velocity operating handle; a movable button end of the microswitch is in contact with the brake button by using a linkage rod in a transverse hole cavity of the velocity operating handle, wherein the brake button is tightened by a restoring spring; and a terminal of the microswitch is connected with the electromagnetic valve through a lead wire in a vertical hole cavity of the velocity operating handle. The operating handle has compact structure, is reasonable in design and simple in operation and puts an end to automobile sliding phenomenon easily occurring in the process of parking on the slope, thereby the safety and reliability of automobile driving are greatly increased.
