Effects of low temperature stress on conductivity, SOD and POD activity of late-maturing peach twigs.

The conductivity,SOD and POD activity of twigs from three peach varieties were determined after and before low temperature treatment to study the effect of low temperature stress on its correlative physical indexes related to cold resistance.The results showed that the variation of relative conductivity of Ershiyishiji peach variety and Qiuhongwanmi peach variety was significant and not obvious respectively,and there was significant difference in POD and SOD content among three peach varieties.
