Size-dependent collisional incorporation of D2O into (H2O)−n around n = 15: implications on the origin of magic numbers in the hydrated electron cluster distribution

Abstract We report a rapid increase in the propensity of D 2 O molecules to incorporate into (H 2 O) − n clusters upon collisions between D 2 O and a distribution of (H 2 O − n , 6 n n 2 O) − n distribution are discussed.
