Risk Inspired Facilities Management Information Systems

Facilities management is used as an overall term for a single integrated risk, asset and space management information system. Recently it has been the risk management aspect which has inspired the adoption of facilities management concepts in large organisations. Specifically, the requirement to post evacuation plans showing the location of dangerous goods, evacuation, visual and emergency response procedures provides a platform to launch asset and space management systems.
