A Preliminary Study of Econazole in its Antimycotic Effect and Clinical Therapeutic Result

Econazole is a new chemical compound and broad-spectrum antimycotic drug being a derivative of imidazole.The present study is based on test against fungi in vitro of Econazole which was manufactured by the Guangzhou 1st Pharmaceutical Factory.These tests have shown that Econazole has a marked action,not only in bacteriostatic,but also in bactericidal sense against certain superficial and deep mycosis.
