Purifying Hexavalent Chromium in Water by Using Activated Carbon Associated with Kinetic Degradation Flux

Hexavalent chromium which is high toxic usually threatens the safty of people's drinking water by entering the food chain from water pollution.In this study,The removal of hexavalent chromium are investigated by using the water purification of activated carbon associated with Kinetic Degradation Flux.The result shows that the most suitable process condition that would ensure the security of drinking water for the water purification of activated carbon associated with Kinetic Degradation Flux is determined that Influent hexavalent chromium concentration is not more than 0.25 mg/L(C-2),the height of filter layer is 110 mm(H-110) and filtration velocity is less than 135 L/h(V-135).
