Survey of Alkaloid Content during Various Harvesting Time in Sophora flavescens Ait

To definite the harvesting time,Sophora flavescens ait from the same ecological zone was collected at various time and tested.The results showed that the sample roots collected on 29th September,5th or 19th November all had relatively high alkaloid level,while the ones collected on 29th May and 29th August low alkaloid.In this way,the optimum harvesting time was decided as from 29th September to 29th November.
