Method of preparing aviation alloyed aluminium variable section sheets

This invention discloses a method for manufacturing aluminum alloy tapered sheets used in aviation industry, which are composed of Si 0.5 wt.%, Fe 0.5 wt.%, Cu 1.2-4.9 wt.%, Mn 0.15-0.90 wt.%, Mg 1.2-3.0 wt.%, Zn 0.3-7.1 wt.% and Al as balance. The method comprises the steps of: (1) smelting the raw materials, (2) casting into ingots, (3) annealing, (4) heating, (5) rolling into roughcasts, (6) rolling into tapered roughcasts, (7) tempering, (8) shearing the tapered roughcasts, (9) rolling the tapered roughcasts with a double rolling machine controlled by an automatic control system, (10) annealing or quenching the tapered sheets, and (11) refining to obtain the final products. The aluminum alloy tapered sheets in this invention can meet the requirements of aviation industry and have a yield of the final products.
