[Endocrine age, gynaecological diseases, and familial factors in mammary carcinoma patients (author's transl)].

1980
: Diagnoses of 153 cases of mammary carcinoma were completed in the mammographic section of the radiological department to which the authors are affiliated, within one year. Most of the patients were post-menopausal. They did not differ with significance, regarding pregnancy and delivery records, from other persons examined. Yet, gynaecological tumours were comparatively rare in cases of mammary carcinoma. Investigations on familial occurrence of mammary carcinoma did not yield much information, since most of the probands had anyway sought medical advice because of breast diseases in their families.
