Method and device for preparing faintly acid disinfectant fluid by diaphragm-free electrolysis

2011
The invention belongs to the technical field of electrochemistry and provides a method and a device for preparing faintly acid disinfectant fluid by diaphragm-free electrolysis. The device comprises an electrolytic cell, a power supply and a first dilution tank, wherein the electrolytic cell is arranged above and communicated with the first dilution tank; the power supply is connected with two plate electrodes placed in the electrolytic cell; the electrolytic cell is a chamber structure; and no diaphragm is between the two plate electrodes. The electrolytic cell adopts a chamber structure without diaphragm, the electrolyte is hydrochloric acid with the concentration of 3%, the electrolysis adopts low voltage (2-3V) and chlorinated gas generated in electrolysis is further utilized. The device causes no pollution to the environment, and is simple in structure, convenient to manufacture, repair and operate, low in cost. Compared with an electrolytic cell with a diaphragm, the device saves cost by 60% and water by 50%, and is of high practical value.
