the article is devoted to the investigation of actual problem issues of implementation of supervision and control activities in pre-trial investigation in accordance with the current domestic criminal procedural legislation. The author, taking into account the new criminal procedural institutions introduced by the Ukrainian legislator, regulations and procedural actions, substantiated the need to introduce specific additions to the current Ukrainian Criminal Procedure Code relating to the optimization of the functional purpose of supervision and control in pre-trial investigation.
