Stable interlocking intramedullary needle for treating bone fracture

2010
The utility model discloses a stable interlocking intramedullary needle for treating bone fracture, which aims at overcoming the defect of bone nonunion caused by the difficult realization of bony union at the bone fracture end in the existing interlocking intramedullary needle. The stable interlocking intramedullary needle for treating bone fracture consists of an intramedullary needle and a locking nail, wherein a pit with the external dimension greater than that of an intramedullary needle locking hole is respectively processed at hole openings of both ends of the intramedullary needle locking hole, the axle line of the pit and the axle line of the intramedullary needle locking hole are collinear, polymer material post bodies are filled in the intramedullary needle locking hole and the pit for fixed connection, in addition, both end surfaces of the polymer material post bodies filled in the pit and the outer surface of the intramedullary needle are coplanar, and then, a round through hole is processed on the axle line of the polymer material post bodies in the direction of the intramedullary needle locking hole. One section of external thread screws used for screwing cortex of bone and the polymer material post bodies in the intramedullary needle locking hole is processed at the pointed end part of the locking nail. The cross section shape of the pit is the same as the cross section shape of the intramedullary needle locking hole, and is in a round shape or an elliptical shape.
