Research on Wind Power Capacity Evaluation Based on Risk Theory and Unit Commitment Under Multi-Scenarios

2020
Wind power generation has aroused people’s extensive concern because of the increasing wind power curtailment. In order to reduce the wind power curtailment rate, a reasonable and precise evaluation model of the consumption capacity is proposed to optimize the planning of wind power to the max extent. Nevertheless, wind power generation is in accordance with the frequency modulation, peak-load shaving ability and the wind fluctuation. Thus, the typical operation conditions need to be considered. Based on the commitment theory and vector ordinal optimization(VOO) method,, the wind farm optimal capacity model under multi scenario units is established considering operation risk with the objective of the min curtailed wind power, the min risk and the min operation cost. Based on the VOO method, the optimal energy consumption of different wind farms under different scenarios is calculated. Finally, through the simulation of IEEE RTS test system, the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed control method are verified.
