Comparative Experiment on Different Strains of Pleurotus geesteranus in Spring Cultivation

In this experiment,the growth rate of mycelium,the yield and morphological characteristic of fruiting bodies were tested and compared among five different strains of Pleurotus geesteranus in spring cultivation.The results showed that,the mycelium of strain Nongxiu No.1 grew fastest on the stock culture medium and pre-culture spawn medium,with the growth rate of 1.01 cm/d and 0.61 cm/d.The stain Zhongnongxiuzhengu had the highest biological efficiency of 50.88%,and the strain possessed the advantages of fruiting early,high yield and good mushroom-shape,thus it was suitable for popularization and application in spring cultivation.
