Untersuchungen an der Reaktion41K(p, α)38Ar

1968
Excitation functions at 90° and 155° to the proton beam have been measured for the reaction41K(p, α)38Ar from 2.1 to 2.5 MeV proton energy. 29 resonances were identified within this energy region. In order to determine spins and parities of at least some of these resonances, angular distributions have been measured at 11 different energies. Single level analysis has been possible in five cases and yielded unique spin-parity assignment for three38Ar-levels. In two cases, two or three different spin-parity combinations were equally possible. The partial width parameters, deduced from this analysis are discussed.
