Многоплодие овец отдельных линий романовской породы

The results of studies on the assessment of prolificacy of ewes of individual lines in the Romanov sheep breeding, conducted in the OOO“Steppe” (Kinelsky district of the Samara region) are given. The best indicator on fertility among experimental ewes belongs to ewes of the line 508 where on the average on one lamb there are 2,5 lambs that is more than an indicator of ewes of other genealogical lines on 0,1–0,7 lamb.
