Flotation isolation of uranium (6) from acidic solutions with the use of finely emulsified extractants. Flotatsionnoe vydelenie urana (6) iz kislykh rastvorov s pomoshch'yu tonkoehmul'girovannykh ehkstragentov

1990
The possibility and high efficiency of application of binary mixtures of finely emulsified organophosphorus extractants: di-2-ethylhexylphosphoric acid (D2EHPA) and tributylphosphine oxide, as well as D2EHPA and trioctylphosphine oxide as flotational collectors of uranium (6) in sulfuric-, hydrochloric- and nitric acid solutions, has been shown experimentally. It is ascertained that the optimal consumption of extractants is 4 moles of D2EHPA per one uranium mole. Kinetics of the flotational process is described by the equation similar to the second order reaction one.
