HOW IS A BOY’S PHYSICAL FITNESS RELATED TO HIS QUALITY OF LIFE?

2012
Background Quality of life (QoL), an important health index for clinical decision making, is related to one’s physical activity (PA). In addition, people with higher PA have better physical fitness (PF). Therefore, PF may be another important factor correlated with QoL. However, the relationship between QoL and PF, especially for pediatric population, is seldom discussed. The relationship may help health professionals further understand the specific benefits of PF on children’s health. This study aimed to understand the relationship between PF and QoL for boys in Taiwan.
