Cinema feito por mulheres: figurando gêneros no cinema

The propose of this paper is to show the cinema made by women and how it’s related with the audience, producing meanings and new forms of perception. We presented the main Brazilian and international women authors and filmmakers who have positioned themselves in relation to the traditional Hollywood film language, exposing specificities of the production of this cinema. In this paper, we present and discuss aesthetic and political aspects of films and production that bring a way of cinematic experience about the world.
