Isotopic exchange of poly-iodophenols during electrolysis of sodium iodide (125I, 131I)☆

Abstract The process of isotopic exchange of iodine nuclides during electrolysis of organic compounds containing poly-iodophenol groups and sodium iodide was investigated. It was established that the main process for the incorporation of iodine nuclides into iodophenol molecules of tetraiodotetrachlorofluorescein during sodium iodide electrolysis was mainly due to isotopic exchange.
