Method for producing a rubber composition and a pneumatic tire

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition reducing the using amount of raw materials originated from petroleum resources, and also imparted with a good weather resistance, a pneumatic tire having a tread rubber consisting of the rubber composition, and a pneumatic tire having a side wall rubber consisting of the rubber composition. SOLUTION: This rubber composition contains 100 pts.mass rubber component and ≥1 pt.mass carbon black made by purifying wood tar, and the rubber component consists of at least any one of natural rubber and a modified natural rubber. The pneumatic tire having the tread rubber consisting of the above rubber composition and the pneumatic tire equipped with the side wall rubber consisting of the above rubber composition are also provided.
