Synthesis and structural studies of a rare bis(phosphine) (hydrido) (silyl) platinum(II) complex containing a Si–Si single bond
2015
Abstract Treatment of the unsymmetric disilane (SiH 3 ) (SiMeBu t 2 ) (1) containing one Si–Si single bond with Pt(dcpe) (PEt 3 ) 2 (dcpe = Cy 2 PCH 2 CH 2 PCy 2 ) in the ratio of 1:1 leads to a stable disilanylplatinum hydride complex {(SiH 2 ) (SiMeBu t 2 )}(H)– Pt Ⅱ (dcpe) (2) , which is one of the very few examples of bis(phosphine) (hydrido) platinum(Ⅱ) complexes bearing silyl ligands with Si–Si single bonds structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray analysis and multinuclear NMR spectroscopic studies.
