Status and Prospects of Free Electron Laser Applications to Scientific and Industrial Researches

Applications of Free Electron Laser (FEL) performed in Japan are reviewed. The applications are concerning the quantum well, material processing, medical treatment, isotope separation and so on. The prospects of future application of FEL to high gradient accelerator, energy transport, nuclear transmutation are described.
