Total synthesis of the 2,6-disubstituted piperidine alkaloid (−)-andrachcinidine

Abstract The total synthesis of the 2,6-disubstituted piperidine alkaloid (−)-andrachcinidine is reported using Keck’s asymmetric allylation, Sharpless epoxidation, nucleophilic substitution, and intramolecular aza-Michael addition as the key steps.
