Moorfields Eye Hospital, situated in London, is home to some of the most advanced and pioneering eye research and treatment being carried out worldwide. The medical retina service encompasses chronic retinal conditions such as age-related macula degeneration (ARMD), diabetic retinopathy, ocular infection, ocular melanomas and genetic disorders. The unit is open Monday to Saturday, 8:30-5:30, and sees approximately 1200 patients a month.
