On how business ethics can be misrepresented : A clarification in respect of some “anti-theses to HOMANN’s economic approach to business ethics” Wie man Wirtschaftsethik missverstehen kann : Eine Aufklärung im Anschluss an einige “Antithesen zu Homanns ökonomischer Wirtschaftsethik“

In a recently published article, Georg Tafner criticises the business-ethical approach by Karl Homann. It can be shown that this critique is based on fundamental misunderstandings. After a short exposition of Tafner’S claims, the fundamental tenets of Homann’S approach will be reconstructed. Based on this, Tafner’S main arguments are discussed, and it is shown that they all miss their mark. Finally, a few aspects of Homann’S approach which Tafner does not discuss explicitly, but which actually seem debatable at the current state of affairs, will be brought to the fore.
