Specificities and conditions for successful management of scientific research projects. The case of health research

This paper proposes an analysis of scientific research projects management specificities and their key-success factors. We based our analysis on a research project in progress to design and evaluate the implementation cancer coordinated care pathway. To do so, we postulated two main specificities: the dialectic between knowledge and action, and the responsibility of the actors’ network involved. We highlight two factors for success: adaptation capabilities to the context of the system as a whole; and the consideration of the relational and human aspects.
