GODAN'S Impact 2014 to 2018 - Improving Agriculture, Food and Nutrition with Open Data
2018
Open data can support innovation and economic growth, improve service delivery and effective governance. It can improve environmental and social outcomes, for stakeholders participating in "innovation systems" and across value chains. Making open data work for agriculture and nutrition requires a shared agenda to increase the supply, quality, and interoperability of data, alongside action to build capacity for the use of data by all stakeholders. GODAN intends to improve the open availability, use and enrichment of data, and meaningful engagement with stakeholders, to enable impacts. This publication highlights how GODAN and its Network of Partners are improving agriculture, food and nutrition with open data.
