Cloning, Expression and Application of Nucleocapsid Protein Gene of Avian Infectious Bronchitis Virus
2006
Nucleocapsid protein (N protein) is one of the major structural protein of infectious bronchitis virus (IBV). The N gene fragment of the IBV was amplified based on the reported gene sequences, after purification and withdraw, the products were cloned into pET-28a (+) vector and transformed into E.coll (DE3), the target protein was successfully expressed. The affinity-purified expressed protein was used as a coating antigen for developing an ELISA for serum detection of the chicken infected by IBV M41. The results showed that the IBV N gene fragment was correctly cloned and expressed, and the target protein could be used to detect the antibody against the N protein of the IBV. The Kinetics of antibody in avian infected by IBV M41 was researched with the recombinant N protein
