Analysis of aperture-coupled circular microstrip antenna

The author presents the analysis of an arc slot circular patch antenna (ASCP). The theory is based on the cavity model and the input impedance is calculated using the theorem of energy conservation. Theoretical and experimental results are in good agreement.
