A High-Frequency Uniform Asymptotic Solution for Electromagnetic Field Scattering by a 3D Wedge Including Grazing Incidence Scenarios

In this paper we present a modified version of the uniform asymptotic theory of diffraction (UAT) for 3D wedge scattering that generalizes former approaches to render correct field solutions in grazing incidence scenarios. We present numerical results that show the proposed method is asymptoticly uniform up to convenient orders of accuracy as in the UAT approach, but with the advantage that continues valid when the incident wave becomes parallel to one of the wedge faces.
