A NEW GENUS AND SPECIES MANGALAUS BKAPUS (ACARI: ERIOPHYIDAE) FROM INDIA

Mangalaus bkapus n. gen., n. sp. (Acari: Prostigmata: Eriophyidae: Eriophyinae: Aceriini), collected from erineum on the underside of leaves of Cordia dichotoma G. Forster (Boragi- naceae), is described and illustrated from specimens collected at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) in New Delhi, India.
