Algorithm of sensor nodes placement based on cellular grid

Sensor nodes placing is an important branch of WSNs research.The cover circle sensor node intersects with other circles of all its adjacent nodes,and when the points of the intersection compose a hexagon,the effective coverage area of the sensor node gets its largest.A sensor node deployment algorithm for the honeycomb grid is put forward,and the result testifies its efficiency in cost control by simulation and comparison with current deployment algorithm for the rectangle gird.
