Economic and commercial feasibility of gas from geopressured aquifers: Conceptual design report. Final report for 1981

1981
The scope and major tasks are defined for a project to evaluate the economic and commercial feasibility of gas production from geopressured aquifers. The approach is aimed at validating a hypothesis advanced by Paul Jones: that a novel well completion technique can be used to produce gas from geopressured aquifers without the concomitant production of large volumes of saline water.
