Based on the analysis of scientific and technical information and research results, high resistance to general, pitting, crevice corrosion, erosion and corrosion cracking in chloride-containing environments at elevated temperatures, cost effectiveness, high performance properties of chromium-nickel-molybdenum ferritic-austenitic steels and the expediency of their wide use in return for more expensive and less corrosion-resistant austenitic chromium-nickel-molybdenum steels.
