Processes involving zirconium on solid and liquid cathodes in LiCl–KCl eutectic based melts

2019
Electrochemical reduction of zirconium in the melts based on 3LiCl–2KCl eutectic mixture were studied on solid and liquid metal cathodes at 500–650 °C. Tungsten was used as the solid cathode and low melting gallium, tin and zinc as the liquid cathodes.Electrochemical reduction of zirconium in the melts based on 3LiCl–2KCl eutectic mixture were studied on solid and liquid metal cathodes at 500–650 °C.
