Double Dimension Control Method for Performance Measurement on R&D Process

2007
As the research and development (R&D) process indeed is a kind of parallel and staggered activities between technology and marketing, and based on the research of Paul Schumann and Derek Ransley and Donna Prestwood (1995), this paper proposes the double dimension control method for performance measurement on R&D process. First, the dissertation introduces the advantage of this method. Then, it illustrates the principal and framework of the method. Finally, as the performance measurement generally needs the indicators to evaluate performance, it designs the performance indicators and management procedure for the application of this new approach.
